Christopher Walker, President and CEO
Walker is the President and CEO of SquareTwo Financial Canada. He oversees business development and strategy for SquareTwo operations in Canada, including the company’s subsidiaries, Metropolitan Legal Administration Services Ltd. and Preferred Credit Resources. His career in accounting and finance spans more than 20 years, including owning and operating of Metropolitan Collection Services where he served as President and acting as CFO at Officeland Inc.
Walker’s experience and sense of community have led to leadership roles with various chambers of commerce, the Ontario Small Claims Court Committee and the Georgian Bay chapter of Certified Management Accountants. Walker is a graduate of the Business Administration program at Sheridan College and holds a CMA designation from the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario.
Tom Rossi, Director Of Operations
Rossi is the Director of Operations at SquareTwo Financial Canada. He is an accomplished manager with a proven ability to strengthen collections and profit margins. He is an innovative leader, particularly in terms of work management, the use of new technologies, and strong leadership skills. He fosters a performance driven environment that is enthusiastic, energetic, and positive.
With more than 15 years of experience in the collections industry, Rossi has worked for many of the major companies in the collections industry in Canada, including Collectcorp Inc. and Creditel of Canada, now Equifax Canada. He went on to act as Vice President of Ontario Operations for Nordon Collection Network Inc. where he oversaw collections for the retail and government sectors as well as USA collections.
Bill Towle, Controller
Towle is the Controller for SquareTwo Financial Canada. For 23 years, he was the controller for fine paper manufacturer CML Industries Ltd., a publicly traded company on the TSX. Bill was responsible for all aspects of accounting and was instrumental in making CML one of the largest manufacturers of Envelopes in Canada.
In 2000, CML was sold to Supremex Inc. and Towle became the controller of Precision Fine Papers Inc., one of its subsidiaries. He was responsible for all aspects of accounting for Precision and continued in this role until Precision was sold to Bablwin Papers Ltd. in 2005. He then stayed on as controller with Precision before moving to SquareTwo Financial Canada in August 2009. Towle Graduated from Canadore College with a 3 year Diploma in Electronic Data Processing in 1985.
